Do I want a HMD: Considering my HMD is already there, just tack hers onto it.

Notes: Peola will be a part of the Unity Group's security teams/ reserve unit when she joins. As such she won't be in combat missions that often unless there is a need for extra bodies for a few months until her canon begins.

Canon Background:  Across distant stars, within the further reaches of space there is a kingdom. One that had stood the tests of time and to the people that lived within it, had remained prosperous and strong for time immemorial. However, within the most recent years a slew of calamaties had befell the family that ruled over this Kingdom and its great King Unathi. Its heir apparent and the King's firstborn son - a consummate warrior and brilliant tactician was crippled in battle against a great foe, and to make matters worse an illness soon had fallen upon him. Because of his fragile state he was forced from the line of succession.

The secondborn child. The King's daughter, a vivacious, beautiful and strong willed woman, one who had been greatly sought out and woo'ed by many a suitor yet none were deemed worthy had vanished from the kingdom and no matter how far within their borders or within those of their allies she could not be found. Thus the King made a declaration. To those who could find her and return her home may marry her and join the Royal Family. Their lineage would become noble and their names known throughout the Kingdom.

And so the great search began...

Character Background: Which Princess Peola Nelfess was probably not going to be happy to hear considering everything she did to get away from her father's idiocy. Ever since she was young she had a fascination with the warrior's art, watching the Royal Machina Corps and the Palace Guards train, along with her brother's swordsmanship lessons . When she requested instructors like her Older Brother Harunn had, her father laughed and bade her to return to her lessons on court etiquette, simply believing it was a phase.

Then he found out she walked into the Palace Barracks and demanded the most experienced soldier train her before she used what few lessons on sciences that she understood to show what several pounds of torque being pulled away can do on a man's groin. The King was less than pleased but he allowed the lessons to happen, believing that once Peola went through some training she'd immediately double back and fall in line.

Except she obviously didn't.

She took to the training like an eagle to the air and excelled at it. Whether she was on foot or fighting within the towering body of an Imperial Machina, she proved her mettle. Harunn proudly called her his equal on the field of combat, a high compliment indeed. The King's hair turned completely white that day and he lost quite a lot of it by tearing it out when he heard about that - Peola's little sister Ourania did enjoy tormenting everyone she could.

Matters took a turn for the worse when Harunn was severely injured in a battle against a mighty foe. One that had claimed one of his legs and an eye. He was stricken with illness on his return and lay greatly weakened. Unwilling to have a disfigured heir, nevermind that his son could possibly recover and his injuries wouldn't interfere that much with being a King that It was with this that Great King Unathi decided to have Peola married off. Believing that not only would marriage help curb her 'rebelliousness', the kingdom's future would be assured. As such he began to set suitors upon his daughter.

Every suitor he had chosen however was met with... dissatisfaction. Some cowered, some blustered and left, some were struck and in one case had been defenestrated. Every single one of them causing Peola no amount of frustration with their behavior. Which led to several suitors forming the idea that she would only wed a man who could best her in battle. Which escalated the situation further until she chose to leave.

Moving as far as she could from anywhere her father was likely to search she arrived at one of the outer colonies, and later journeyed to Earth. After hiding her Machina she set off to find her place in life, eventually becoming a pilot. Happy for the time being simply using her skills, it never occurred to her that one day her hand may be forced into doing something drastic that would bring the hordes of glory seeking suitors and the wrath of her father upon her head once more.

Personality: Peola is the sort of person who despises stupidity by people in positions of power, yet has a slight tendency to get caught up in her own mistakes. While she has been around on Earth for a while there are things that she remains ignorant of, signals and quirks of language in speech and body that she has yet to catch. Her childhood in the Imperial Palace left her naive to a great many things, and additionally her inability to focus on lessons she had learned in childhood (or had more likely just tossed aside out of annoyance) made her into a rather aggressive and undiplomatic person whenever she has been pushed into a fury.

She is certainly friendly and eager to socialize, and is easily entertained by Earth Media, but she doesn't handle insults very well and tends to lash out. She is tremendously uncomfortable at having any 'interpersonal' interactions due to the trouble she had dealt with back home with the horde of suitors. Peola is still getting used to socializing with people on an equal level due to her royal upbringing and thus many mistakes can be expected.

Having worked hard for her skills, she is a very proud fighter and is more than often eager to show her skills and prove her worth to others. However she does tend to be a little reckless, and her preference to close combat above everything else tends to place her in distinct tactical disadvantages. She has never learned to work in a team, has spent large amount of times fighting alone and more than often refuses to ever admit defeat. She shows great respect to people who fight for a living, as her brother was a great soldier himself and soldiers were the ones who taught her to fight.

She has never actually killed, but believes herself to be prepared to do so in the event that her hand is forced. However what she says and what will actually happen are possibly two different things.

Capabilities and Resources: Peola is a capable fighter and is an expert hand to hand combatant. Her people also low level empaths, allowing her to get a vague read of people's feelings - though this can be fooled.

Type: Combatant

Unit Name: RPT-007 Gespenst Mk-II
Unit Description: While having a lower performance standard than the more refined Kai types, the Gespenst Mk-II remains a tremendously respectable machine all around with immense tactical flexibility and boasts a wide selection of weapons for pilots to pick and choose from to suit their personal needs.

Peola's preference in terms of weapons always tends to gravitate back to the Jet Magnum or a physical sword whenever she can get her hands on one. Otherwise with ranged weapons she'll take whatever is handy.

Upgrades:  When her canon begins roughly a few months after her arrival, she will get back to using her original pre-Earth mecha.

Unit Name: Imperial Machina - Regalis Filia
Unit Description: An Imperial Machina standing at 40 Meters tall, it was commissioned from the Grand Foundry by Prince Harunn as a gift for his little sister for taking to her combat lessons so well. A reward that admittedly sent their father into something of a fit. The Regalis-Type machina admittedly are a far different breed of war machine in comparison to the more commonplace Arma-Types.

These are granted to members of the Royal family who have taken up the art of Machina-based Combat or more commonly, elite members of the Imperial Machina Corps. Regalis types are larger, heavier machines than their smaller and lighter cousins - yet have a greater range of mobility. Full control and effectiveness however often requires the pilot to be in peak physical performance as the machine relies on the motions of the being within it.

The Regalis Filia is a close ranged powerhouse, having immense physical strength and impressive durability. Admittedly though while the Regalis Filia is capable of great leaps and space combat, it is not capable of sustained flight due to its weight. Its sole armament is the massive sword, as well as its own limbs. It is capable of manipulating energy to grant it an impressive array of attacks though.

Due to having been in disuse for a while, it needs a lot of maintenance and some time for a lot of systems to come back online  - meaning that its barehanded attacks are disabled for a long while (roughly gets to use them again around the time of her third mission).

Attacks (Sword):

Horizon Edge -  Energy is focused into the blade, extending its already impressive range and cutting power. It is at its best when against large numbers as horizontal slashes get far more mileage from it. Admittedly the attack isn't very useful at all against stronger opponents.

Comet Crash - A diving attack into the enemy, the impact force of the blade is multiplied several times over. The results of the attack depend on if the blade has been sheathed. If sheathed the blade will all but crush the target into the ground before Peola attempts to follow up by kicking it out of the ground and batting it off into the distance. An unsheathed strike would essentially get similar results to Sanger's attacks i.e. CLEAVE.

Umbra Impact
- A solid strike upside whatever the target sees out of with the pommel of the blade. Given the weight of the weapon it would tend to be a very hefty stunning strike leaving it open to several other attacks - either by Peola or her allies.

Attacks (Barehanded):

Pulsar Punisher - Peola charges at the target, grabbing at an enemy's head/neck or at another point that works as a hand hold, swings herself to gain momentum before delivering a solid punch into the section.

Radiant Storm - A barrage of punches let loose at a target. Admittedly the Radiant Storm's purpose is in fact to wear down defenses with a sheer volume of attacks, though it is entirely possible for it to do the job on its own.

Prominence Break
- Peola lets loose a series of devastating punches finished with a powerful uppercut which literally detonates with an intense, point blank explosion. Admittedly the Prominence Break ultimately centers around the final attack, though each of the previous blows will make it far more lethal.

Nova Magnum - A single mighty blow, intensified by a great deal of energy focused into the Regalis Filia's fist. Peola often lets loose this attack during a full tilt charge at an enemy. Targets killed by this attack take a moment to realize that they have 'died', allowing Peola to move back. Additionally, if needs be she can press the attack further against tougher opponents, twisting the punch after its made impact to cause the energy to surge more violently into the target before pumping even more into them.

Nova Phantom - A combination of the Radiant Storm and the Nova Magnum to deliver maximum damage - working on similar principles to the Prominence Break. Peola may try to smash the target into convenient surfaces/hurl them around before resuming the beating to maximize damage before the final blow.

Extinction Flare
-  The mechanics of the Horizon Edge are that a specific amount of energy has to be used to keep from shattering the blade as well as to keep it in a coherent and stable form. The Extinction Flare completely tosses all of that aside and channels a tremendously ridiculous amount of energy through one of the Regalis Filia's fists before shunting it all into whatever it strikes. The effects are... spectacular to say the least. If used upon the ground, energy erupts and geysers around the Machina in towering, arcing fangs - punishing all those who are close it implodes, drawing debris and possibly other foes in before it detonates violently, leaving the Regalis Filia in the middle of a burning conflagration. The attack however requires a great deal of concentration and is downright impossible to directly inflict on an enemy instead of hitting somewhere close to them. Letting it out without a surface to channel it through creates a maelstrom of energy that is admittedly far less powerful than putting it into something.
